However in my clinical experience, when I visit hypertensive patients, I can identify a whole series of errors that compromise the effectiveness of their therapy.
Mistakes are always around the corner and most of the time people are not aware of them.
In this article I will show you 2 errors that are potentially dangerous and that can be easily avoided.
Error number 1
Do not consider night blood pressure, which is actually the one you need to pay attention to most.
At night the pressure must drop by 15-20% compared to the values of the day and the pressure peaks at this time are dangerous.
Error number 2
Do physical activity in the evening hours, since if you do intense physical activity you can activate processes that increase adrenaline and cortisol in your body.
These 2 hormones can increase pressure and make you fall asleep with difficulty. In addition, you have now understood that the pressure at night must not rise but must even fall with respect to the values of the day.
